Water colour demonstration by Ian McManus

Ian McManus joined us for our group's latest demonstration taking as his topic a photograph of a Somerset street scene taken on a gloomy day.  Although a little uninspiring it was brought to life by Ian's use of vibrant watercolours and interesting tonal effects.  We thank Ian for an exceptionally informative demo and look forward to seeing him again  in some future date.

Ian will join us on Monday the 30th of June taking as his theme - A Street Scene in Watercolour.

Watercolour demonstration by Susan Boddy

Susan Boddy joined Writtle Art Group on the Monday 24th February and gave us a very informative and enjoyable demonstration.

Susan, using just three colours - French Ultra Marine, Light Red, and Burnt Siena - showed the power of a  limited pallet and the need to consider perspective in our work.

We thank Susan and look forward to another session with you in the future.
